Climate Week

Climate Week - West Lothian

Scotland's Climate Week - which takes place 26 September & 2 October - is an annual event designed to help raise awareness of the global climate emergency and celebrate Scotland's leadership in taking action against climate change. Across the country schools, local authorities, businesses and charities will be hosting climate awareness events.

This year Climate Week 2022 coincides with the October energy price cap rise. Many will be facing rising fuel & food prices and looking for advice on how to tackle rising costs. Therefore, the council's Climate Week events have a focus on tackling rising costs and helping those in fuel poverty while also reducing associated carbon emissions and contributing to wider climate change objectives.
