I was lucky to see you many times over the years ma'am and was thrilled every time

One of my earliest memories is standing outside the BMC in Bathgate when you came to officially open the plant.

You were dressed in yellow and we watched you going in and coming out. I was also lucky enough to stand outside Buckingham Palace and watch you ride down the Mall to the Trooping of the Colour for the last time.

I grew up you as my Queen and I will miss you being there for all the significant events in public life. RIP Ma'am and God Save the King.
