Transport Arrangements - 19 April 2021
School Transport Amendments
In light of updated Scottish Government advice, the Council has reviewed school transport to ensure full compliance with the return of pupils to school from Monday 19 April 2021. The school transport details are as follows;
Bus Route Arrangements
Stage | Arrangements |
P1 - P7 | All primary school services will continue with the normal timetable and routes with no physical distancing measures on board. |
S1 - S6 | All secondary school services will continue with the original timetable and route. |
Pupils using school bus services should continue to use their existing pass on their allocated school route.
Please note that all pupils should either have a pass for free transport or a valid weekly ticket to travel from Monday 19 April 2021. Pupils without either form of pass will not be permitted to travel.

Taxi & Minibus Route Arrangements
Mainstream Schools:
Stage | Arrangements |
P1 - P7 | All primary school services will continue with the normal timetable and routes with no physical distancing measures on board. Parents/Pupils will be notified directly with any changes to the pick up/ drop off times. |
S1 - S6 | All services will revert back to normal routes and times. Parents/carers will be contacted by individual operators to confirm pick up times. |
ASN Units & Schools:
Head Teachers of ASN schools and enhanced support provision will continue to communicate with parents on an individual basis. There will be no amendments to current transport arrangements.
Back to School Information
There will be no physical distancing measures on any school transport from Monday 19 April but pupils should continue to wear a face covering unless exempt.
