Apprentice and Youth Trainee discount
You may be entitled to a discount if a member of your household is an apprentice or youth trainee.
To qualify as an apprentice the person must be:
- employed to learn a trade, business, profession, office role or vocation, and
- on a recognised course of training leading to an accredited qualification, and
- paid no more than £195 per week gross.

To qualify as a youth trainee the person must be:
- under 25 years old, and
- taking a relevant course under an individual training plan.
