View, object to or comment on a Planning Application

Use our planning portal to view the details of a planning application and submit an objection or comment.

Disruption to public access

Development Management is about to install a new software system for processing planning applications. As a result of this there will be no public access to the planning portal to make comments between 28 June and 13 July. Any comments you wish to make during this period should be made by email to planning@westlothian.gov.uk or in writing to the address below.

Applications registered before 28 June will be available to view online but there will be limited access to process new applications received or ready to be registered between 28 June and 13 July. Neighbour notification, advertisement and consultation on applications received during this period will not commence until the new system is in place.

We will strive to minimise any disruption to our service during this time but some applications will inevitably be delayed.   Thank you for your patience during this system upgrade.
